Abstract

UCG-CCS coal deposits evaluation has be conducted in terms of the variation of EU coal deposit properties (WP1) in addition to expectable synthesis gas compositions using the knowledge from the experimental and modelling work undertaken in WP2 to 4. The aim of this task was the provision of matched CO2 storage capacities using geological, geotechnical, environmental and engineering design criteria to assess the UCG-CCS potential of EU coals.
