Spectral Core Gamma Log for Blokelv-1 Well, GGU 511101. Contribution to Petroleum Geological Studies, Services and Data in East and Northeast Greenland

Research output: Book/ReportReport (publicly available)

Abstract

This report presents the results of a spectral gamma and bulk density scanning of core sections from the well GGU 511101, Northeast Greenland. The well is informally referred to as the Blokelv well. The work was conducted by request of the GEUS project "Petroleum Geological Studies, Services and Data in East and Northeast Greenland". The core was drilled in the summer of 2008 and the experimental work presented here was conducted at GEUS Core Laboratory between 21st October 2008 and 25th November 2008. Mr. Morten Bjerager, GEUS, was contact person for the laboratory during the project.

Preliminary data of the core scanning were delivered to the project by e-mail on 27th October 2008, 6th November 2008, 11th November 2008, 2nd December 2008 and 11th May 2009. The data in the present report supersedes these preliminary data.
