N2 - This publication is the third in a series of thematic map volumes comprising regional compilations of geoscience data. It acts as a geographic link between the first two publications in the series (Steenfelt et al, 1990; Thorning et al, 1994) by covering the area from 61° 30' N, 40° 00' W to 64° 00' N, 52° 00' W (Fig. 1). Although there has been minor mineral exploration activity in the region, the main objective of the thematic map series is to provide data to encourage further exploration activities.
