Micropalaeontology and petrography of Middle and Upper Jurassic samples from Jameson Land and Milne Land, East Greenland.

    Abstract

    As part of a larger study on the Jurassic of northwest Europe, 74 outcrop samples from East Greenland have been analysed by members of the st.aff of Robertson Research International Ltd. The results of the micropalaeontological and petroeraphical aspects of this work are presented here. The samples were selected from the collection of the Greenland Geological Survey by Professor T. Birkelund as being the most suitatble for this kind of stucly. They were collected from Middle and Upper Jurassic outcrops in Jameson Land and Milne Land during the period 1968 - 71.
