Abstract
The Ketilidian mobile belt occupies the region between lvigtut in the west, Ikermit in the east, and Kap Farvel, the southern tip of Greenland (fig. 138). To the north an extensive area of Archaean rocks is exposed (see Bridgwater et al., this volume). The mobile belt comprises gneisses, granites and metamorphosed supracrustal rocks and is characterised by the occurrence of numerous late, intrusive granite plutons covering large areas.
