Abstract
There are no records of the grey whale Eschrichtius robustus from Denmark. However, there are two finds of the species from the Baltic Sea and many finds from the North Sea region. Based on these finds it is concluded that the grey whale probably occurred in Danish waters until it was exterminated in the Atlantic Ocean about 300 years ago.
