Abstract

The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (Danmarks og Grønlands Geologiske Undersøgelse - GEUS) has undertaken af project for geological investigations in the southern part of the East Greenland Caledonides (72°-75°N) - this region is strictly speaking in the 'North-East Greenland' of Survey terminology. Field work was initiated with a two-month field campaign in 1997 and was completed with a second summer season in 1998.
