Abstract

An important step in every forward modeling of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) is the choice of the source wavelet. The real world source wavelet is non-trivial to estimate as, for example, instrumental drift, site-specific ground coupling and low-frequency “wow”-effects all complicate the determination.
