D12.1 Global datasets of ocean circulation and ocean temperature

Research output: Book/ReportBookResearch

Abstract

This deliverable enhances the scientific impact of P2F findings and strengthens research networks within the wider scientific community by providing a synthesis of the most up-to-date and quality-assessed ocean data for key time slices in the past that are directly relevant for paleoclimate modelers seeking data for testing or tuning, as well as paleoclimate proxy experts interested in understanding global-scale patterns of past climate change. It strengthens collaboration across proxy and model data communities by making available harmonized data sets with consistent and coherent quality control descriptors available for model tuning and data-model comparison which can be used in future studies beyond P2F.
