A workflow allowing multiple-point statistics realizations to reveal where we lack information

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaper at conferencepeer-review

Abstract

In recent years, the importance of representing the uncertainty of any earth model has met more understanding. One way of doing this is by generating a series of realizations of a statistical representation of the earth model instead of just one, in some way, 'optimal' model. Modelling the subsurface in a probabilistic way like this, allow for any kind of statistical questions to be answered.
