Personal profile

Presentation

My primary resarch area is large-scale hydrological modelling, with a focus on (shallow) groundwater, climate change, and flood and drought. I have in-depth expertise of model parameterization and optimization. Current efforts are geared towards a combination of physically-based models with data-driven machine learning approaches as well as remote sensing data.

I am involved in the ongoing development and operationalization of the National Hydrological Model for Denmark (DK-model) as well as various other projects surrounding climate change impacts, drainage, floods and drought, and green transition.
