Personal profile

Presentation

My primary resarch area is large-scale hydrological modelling, with a focus on (shallow) groundwater and climate change. I have in-depth expertise of model parameterization and optimization. Current efforts are geared towards a combination of physically-based models with data-driven machine learning approaches as well as remote sensing data.

I am involved in the ongoing development of the national water resource model for Denmark (DK-model) as well as various other projects surrounding climate change impacts, drain, and green transition.
