EXPERIENCE

 

2019-present: Senior Adviser - The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland.

2005-2019: Research seismologist - The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland.

1998-2004: Research seismologist - The National Survey and Cadastre – Denmark.

 

2016–2021: EU H2020 WP co-leader project INTAROS.

2011–2014: PI: Project NordQuake, Earthquake Researcher Network funded by NordForsk.

2008–present: PI: Seismological service Denmark.

2006: PI: Scientific project with the purpose of recording teleseismic earthquakes in Western Greenland, to reveal information on lithopheric structures.

  • Advising on earthquake hazard assessment.
  • International research in seismology, author and co-author of peer-reviewed publichation, reports and supervisor for university studens within the fiels of seismology.
  • Mangement, initiation and development of scientific projects on broadband seismology in Europe and Greenland.
  • Core member of the SEISAN development team and have organized SEISAN workshops: 2019 Ohio, 2018 Taiwan, 2016 Lisabon, 2013 Copenhagen, 2012 Bergen, 2010 Istanbul.
  • Public outreach through more than 100 interviews to TV, Radio, newspapers and public talks and e-learning on earthquake seismology.
