- Using diagenesis and provenance studies to investigate and predict the reservoir quality of sandstone reservoirs.
- Experienced with provenance methods including radiometric age dating and heavy mineral analysis.
- Experienced with petrographic methods such as optical and scanning electron microscopy, stable isotope analysis, cathodoluminescence, fluid inclusion microthermometry, microprobe, X-ray diffraction.
- Project manager for several geothermal, CO2 storage and provenance projects.
- Manager of the North Atlantic Provenance Database hosted at GEUS.
- Coordinator of Geothermal Energy at GEUS in cooperation with Henrik Vosgerau.
- Dissemination including teaching at PhD-courses, popular science talks for professionals, and interviews concerning the potential and exploration for geothermal energy in Denmark.
