Resumé
A short review is presented of available reports on recent investigations of a geoscientific nature related to the cryolite deposit at Ivigtut in South Greenland. A number of these reports are written in Danish.
The main topics concern reserve estimates and results of drilling activity that elucidate aspects that can influence future development. New analytical data are presented for siderite and quartz.
No further elaboration of available data from magnetic, gravimetric and VLF ground surveys has been undertaken. Environmental studies, mainly on tbe dispersion of lead from mine waste deposited adjacent to Arsuk Fjord, are mentioned.
