Resumé

In order to evaluate the geothermal potential in the Copenhagen area a co-operation between Danmarks og Grønlands Geologiske Undersøgelse (GEUS) and Sveriges Geologiska Undersokning (SGU) in Lund was established during 1996. To facilitate screening of a large number of samples, routine porosity and gas permeability were measured on samples from outcrops and deep wells in Southwest Skåne, but only a few “quick-look” liquid permeability data were obtained. The results are reported in “Kemeanalyse for Energistyrelsen” (GEUS Rapport 1997/6).

A liquid permeability screening has been undertaken by the Nordic Energy Research stipendiate Jörgen Samuelsson during a stay at GEUS Core Laboratory. Focusing on the Danish Gassum Formation, liquid permeability data is presented from the Danish wells Gassum-1, Lavø-1 and Vedsted-1. Also presented in this report is data from the Swedish well Hollviken-1 and data on outcrop samples from Bornholm.
