Resumé
In this paper several simulations are performed for different urban and dense urban environments. The simulations are carried out by using the simulator QualiSIM, which is capable of accounting for the geometric extended path length from non-line of sight reflected signals from the nearby buildings. In order to fully access the position accuracy domain in these environment QualiSIM is used to quantify which of the 4 parameters time of day, local position in environment, rotation angle of the environment and the global location, that are most critical for the GNSS position accuracy and reliability. The results have shown that HDOP cannot be used as a quality indicator for position accuracy when using reflected signals. The most critical parameter when performing kinematic test in urban and dense urban environments is the time of day. The azimuth angle of the environment, the trajectory and the global location of the environment is less important.
