    Resumé

The occurrences of sand-wedges in the glacitectonically deformed Tertiary mo-clay in the Limfjorden Region in Northern Jutland have been investigated. The sand wedges are regarded as pollution of the mo-clay rawmaterial, and the present investigation was carried out to explain and map the occurrence of this unusual formation. The investigation resulted in the suggested model for the glaciodynamic development of the glaciogeological setting of Fur. -Authors
