Resumé
The macroscopical plant and animal remains of a nearshore peat deposit in West Greenland are described and documented. The asemblages contain a mixture of limnic, terrestrial, and marine plants and animals. These are divided into four local macrofossil assemblage zones, of which zone three, ca AD 950 to ca AD 1760, represents a wet phase which is correlated in part with the Little Ice Age. -Author
