Resumé
Reports the result of analysis of material from Eemian sediments including beetles and plants. The fossil assemblage is dominated by dwarf shrubs, with aspen, birch and alder in sheltered locations. The most open windswept areas were characteristic of present day dwarf shrub heaths and fell-fields. Snow patch vegetation was more widespread than today, suggesting heavier snowfall. -K.Clayton
