Resumé
One of the key deliverables of the ENOS project’s activities is promoting CCS through education and
training has accomplished here by organisation of the first of the spring schools in Latera in Italy. The
course targeted knowledge and dissemination in particular to young scientists. The 1st school focused on CO2 geological storage with special attention paid to full CO2 geological storage chain and requirements
included in the EU Storage Directive as well as in the monitoring and communication guidelines. The
activity was led by CO2GeoNet-GEUS, in cooperation with Sapienza University of Rome (UNIROMA1),
BRGM and CO2GeoNet-GeoEcoMar and BGS. The spring school was financed from the ENOS project
budget and with resources of the participants.
