Research focus

• National and regional scale drinking water (DW) and groundwater (GW) quality assessments, incl.
  • DW: compliance with regulation, temporal and spatial trends, exposure
  • GW: River Basin Management Plan 3 (Vandplan 3) qualitative status, vulnerability, natural background levels 
• Knowledge discovery through data mining, statistical and geostatistical modelling, with a focus on large and complex water quality datasets
• Development of reproducible workflows with detailed documentation, and effective data-communication
• Expertise in dealing with data from the national well database Jupiter

Teaching experience

2017 - 2018   Developed, coordinated, and thaught six Phisical Geography modules (courses) at the National University of Singapore (NUS):

• Undergraduate level: Earth System Science; Environmental Modelling; Advanced Hydrology and Water Resources Management; Water and Environment; 
• Graduate level: Discussing Human-Environment Interactions; Dynamic Environments;
• Statistics: 4 semesters, 342 students, managed 4 teaching assistants 

2012 - 2014  Teaching assistant during my PhD at Aarhus University:

• Field course in Hydrology and Geomorphology at Klim (Denmark) (“Hydrologisk og Geomorfologisk Feltkursus, Klim) – 2 weeks in 2012, 6 days in 2013, 5 days in 2014
