2008 – 2012: PI of project Late-Holocene climate variability in Greenland reconstructed on basis of marine sediments focusing on warmer periods. Team of 3 MSc and 1 BSc student. Funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark,

2005: PI of Climate variability during the latest 3000 years reconstructed on basis of lake sediments in an Atlantic transect: The Azores Islands and the Faroe Islands. Funded by Carlsberg Foundation.

2004: PI of project Climate variability during the latest 11500 years reconstructed on basis of lake sediments in an Atlantic transect: The Faroe Islands, the Azores Islands, Tristan da Cunha and Staten Island (Argentina). Funded by VILLUM Foundation
